Bruce Loup Garou is a legendary character of south Louisiana. Half man and half dog or wolf, stories of this swamp monster have long given pause to those unfortunate enough to face a trip through the swamps alone at night. In this song Sunpie invokes the image of Loup Garou when the singer's woman tells him she has another man. She is informed that she can have no other man because he is a Loup Garou and will not allow it. What follows is a catalog of mayhem only a Loup Garou could provide.

Chris Miller and Bayou Roots Just as slow-moving bayous and magnificent moss-laden oaks conjure images of French Louisiana, so do the syncopated rhythms and plaintive melodies of Chris Miller and Bayou Roots evoke the ghosts of the pioneers of the Louisiana sound. Ancient airs take on new life, twin violins retrace the path of the Acadians migration to Louisiana, and the music of the 20th century Cajun dancehall is punctuated with accents of diatonic accordion riffs and a steady bass and guitar accompaniment.

Michot-Courville Traditional Cajun Music Michot-Courville plays the traditional “Bal de Maison” style of Cajun music that was prevalent when the dances were held inside the home while the adults danced, the children played, and the babies slept. This style is still very much alive in south Louisiana, and musicians Tommy Michot (accordion) and Kevin Courville (fiddle) epitomize the style. Michot and Courville have been playing together since 1997, working venues from house dances to dance halls to auditorium concerts. The music from their instruments blends together to form a traditional, rootsy, and exclusively Cajun sound. They are bilingual, travel light, and can perform as an acoustic duo or a full five-piece dance band.

Zachary Richard Singer, songwriter and poet, Zachary Richard was
born and raised in Southwest Louisiana. His music
is influenced by the styles typical of the region,
Cajun, Zydeco and New Orleans rhythm and blues,
but he has always gone beyond the limitations of
any particular style, creating his own musical
gumbo. With "Cap Enragé," his thirteenth album,
Zachary Richard has taken a new direction. His first
all French language recording in over ten years, this
new collection can be characterized by a subtlety,
present but not always as much in evidence on his
previous recordings.
