The Preservation and Presentation of Acadian Voices -  This site features the voices of Acadians who lived during the early part of the 20th century. This digital collection is rich in oral narratives, tales, songs and instrumental music. In Nova Scotian Acadie, with just a few words, an experienced ear can pinpoint an Acadian's home village. Users of Graver la Parole will now also be able to savour this great variety of Acadian accents. The interviewees are almost all deceased, but parts of their lives are preserved on these tapes, recorded during the 1970s.

CeeZees Cajun & Zydeco Dance Instruction and Dancer's Schedule
Ceezees.com is dedicated to bring attention to, and assist in the Preservation of the Cajun, Zydeco and Creole Heritage and their Culture that has survived over the past quarter-millennium in South Louisiana. As members of the Cajun French Music Association, my wife, Liz, and I are actively involved in bringing attention to the Culture of the Cajun people and their Heritage that is based so strongly with family values. A traditional Cajun dance in Louisiana could very well have in attendance the entire family as it has been for over two centuries.

Sociolinguistic Survey of Cajun French
THIS PROJECT IS AN extensive sociolinguistic investigation of Cajun French. The study will use a scientific methodology based on a large and diverse enough sample of speakers to enable researchers to access the range of variability of the Cajun speech community. The results will provide the basis for answers about the real usage of, the linguistic attitudes toward, and the structure of this variety, and, consequently, its degree of assimilation.

YAT-SPEAK
I was raised in a bilingual family in New Orleans -- we spoke both English and Yat. French didn't really enter into it, although I'm sure some families were trilingual and included that language as well. The Yat language is well-suited to the Yat person.
