Antique Radio Repair Hello my name is Glenn Bordelon, a professional electronic technician in Industrial electronics, with a electronics degree. A interest in electronics which began when I became a ham operator, I earned a degree and now make my living in this field. I started repairing antique radio's as a hobby after work and fell in love with seeing these old timers come back to life after not working for so many years. I've seen some radio's that look like there was no hope for, but I was able to bring it back to life, so don't throw away no antique radio, lets take a look at what treasure you may have found stored away.

Cajun Music Hall of Fame and Museum The Cajun Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a project of the Cajun French Music Association. It was made possible through thousands of hours of volunteer labor by CFMA members from many towns and cities and through support from donations also raised by volunteers. The building itself is a one-room country store that dates from the 1930s, the kind of structure--either a store or a home--in which dances were held earlier in the 20th century.

LCPA - WEST Louisiana Crawfish Producers Association-West is an organization whose main objective is to help keep the public informed of our rights to the navigable waterways. We are located on the west side of the Atchafalaya Basin Protection Levee. The LCPA-WEST benefits crawfisherman, fisherman, trappers, shrimpers, hunters, photographers, tourists, canoers, bird watchers, or anyone else who uses our nation's navigable water bottoms. The vast majority of our state's coastal wetlands are claimed by private out of state corporate interest, even though millions of dollars of federal moneys are spent, we have no public access. There are forces at work to do the same to the Atchafalaya Basin, one of our nation's last natural wildernesses. Help us fight to keep our water ways free forever!

The Acadian and Francophone Community of Nova Scotia Seven regions in Nova Scotia have a high proportion of Acadians: Clare in Digby County, Argyle in Yarmouth County, Pomquet near Antigonish, Île Madame and a few nearby villages in Richmond County, Chéticamp, St-Joseph du Moine, and Magré in Inverness County, and the cities of Halifax-Dartmouth and Sydney. A few thousand Acadians live in the other counties. A number of Francophones who are not of Acadian origin have settled in all parts of the province, but mainly in the cities (for economic reasons) and in the areas where there is a high proportion of Acadians (for cultural reasons).
