 My ggg grandmother was Mary Ann Guillory. She was married to
James Mayer. She was the daughter of Francois Guillory and Hiacinthe
Veuillon. I have a old newspaper that has has a story on the Guillory's. There was two cousins that that lived in Eunice.
Their names were Felix and Isaac Guillory. They left the Eunice area and went to Black Bayou area in the 1920. They were fairly large landowners in the Eunice area.The depressions began to hit at this time. Isaac was the son of Theophile Guillory and grandson of Emile Guillory.Felix Guillory was the son of Benjamin Guillory and the
grandson of Augustin Guillory..There was a Dr. A.W. Guillory that was the best known early Dentist at lived in the Lake Charles and was an
accomplished violinist. He was a member of the Lake Charles Clivic
Symphony Orchestra. This is all in the newspaper.. This newspaper talks about Guillory to the 1851.. ......
