I recently received an email that Columbia House has sold old accounts to AIS Services. Let me know if you have heard this also. AIS Services number is 1-800-480-2336



A Recent Email (12/18/2007)
I was having a ridiculous time trying to get a live person at Columbia House. The only number that’s published is the automated line. I even called BMG asking them for a live number for Columbia House, but they were no help. So I started scouring the Columbia House phone tree. I found a human!


After dialing the automated line 800-262-2001

Press 1 for English

Press 5 for More Options

Press 5 to cancel your account

Enter your account number


Then the phone system routes you to a service rep so they can try to talk you out of cancelling.


So even when you press 5, 5, and your acct. number, your account still isn’t cancelled. So even if you are calling for something unrelated to cancelling your account, you can press 5, 5, and your acct. number so that you can talk to a live person and hopefully get your situation resolved. Please publish this on your site so that others may find the end of the tunnel.

I found these 2 #'s for columbia house also on the internet on http://search.aol.com/

A Dave on your web page stated he tested all these #'s and working,so I

am updating you on these #'s. I tested all these #'s on 1-17-06 and have listed
