The traditional Thibodaux route, used by the Krewes of Ambrosia, Cleophas and Chronos, begins at Nicholls State University heading north on Audubon Avenue, turning west on Menard Street to East Fifth, turning north on Canal Boulevard, then west on West Second Street, proceeding west onto West First Street (La. 1), then turning south on Jackson Street (La. 20), until Canal Boulevard, when parades will turn north. The next turn is east on East Seventh Street, then turn north on Bayou Lane, then east on Menard Street and south on Audubon Ave, disbanding at its starting spot at Nicholls State University.
