Where: Louisiana State Fairgrounds, 3701 Hudson St., Shreveport.


Featuring: area bands, including Huntington and Woodlawn high schools, MacSpeed Motorsports, Mrs. Eddie Jones West Shreveport Elementary, Lakeshore Elementary and Caddo Magnet High School, Top Teens of America, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Chief Togbe Asogli II, of the Ewe Tribe of Asogli Traditional Council, Volta Region, Ghana West Africa, will be the parade marshal. The parade begins at the Louisiana Fairgrounds to Querbes Street, cross Greenwood Road to Mertis Street, down Mertis to Lakeshore Drive to Missouri and back to the Fairgrounds.


Admission: free. $35 entry fee.
